Weatherby Mark V Wyoming Silver Edition Blued Bolt Action Rifle – 300 Weatherby Magnum – After announcing their move to Wyoming, Weatherby immediately started receiving requests for the first Mark V’s stamped “Sheridan, WY”. The demand for these new rifles served as the catalyst for the development of their Wyoming Commemorative. Weatherby saw this historic move to the Cowboy State as an opportunity to make a limited rifle set that would showcase the Weatherby quality and craftsmanship while boasting their new location at the foot of the Bighorn Mountains in beautiful Sheridan, Wyoming. The Wyoming Commemorative Silver Rifle has specific differences to its brother the Gold Rifle. The most valuable difference will be the WY serialized receivers have a higher range starting at WY000501. Also, the Silver edition will have no gold inlay, no barrel bands, and has a AAA Fancy French Walnut stock vs. The Golds Exhibition grade. These rifles will be a collector’s piece that will be admired for generations to come.
